8U Kid Pitch
- Recommended for 8 year olds. Typical Grade Level: 2nd grade.
- Bridges the gap between Machine Pitch and Minors by emphasizing pitching and catching and the concept of smart hitting. This is the first level of Kid Pitch available through SCR Baseball.
- We would like all capable 8 year olds to progress through this division to increase their confidence for the next level. We recommend 1 year in AAA Machine Pitch before moving to this division.
- Games are played once weekly on Saturdays in this division. Wins and Losses are recorded in this division, and teams will participate in a Double Elimination tournament at the conclusion of the spring regular season.
- Umpires are provided for this division.
